Appointments & Referrals
Appointments (General Public)
Reserve an appointment on my diary from this page! See the calendar of coming events.
To make an appointment with me, just phone or email* me with a preferred time and location. Unless I am on vacation, I will usually get back to you the same day.
You do not need a referral from a doctor or other professional to make an appointment.
However, I would prefer to speak with you by phone before we first meet. This serves three purposes. Firstly, I can determine whether my approach is likely to benefit you. Secondly I can determine whether I or perhaps another practitioner would be the best person to deal with the issue you are seeking help for. If my approach is not the best one or you have an issue I am not familiar with, I can usually point you in the direction of someone more suitable. Thirdly, I like to use an initial phone call to ‘orient’ myself to you and your expectations of the counselling process.
If you have reached this website and want to make an appointment or have already made one, I ask that you read the Welcome Letter and download the Intake Form, fill it in and bring it to our first meeting.
Here is information on my fees, times and locations.
If you have further questions please read the FAQ page or phone me.
*Please be aware that I cannot guarantee the privacy of email correspondence between my computer and yours.
Referrals (Other Practitioners)
A referral letter accompanying your client with details of what treatment you have done or are planning is always helpful. I am happy to discuss my approach and methods, or you can find more information here. Please feel free to phone (0425 823 173) or email me at counselling@julianmcnally.com for further information or to make a referral.
To see my calendar and request a booking click here (opens new window). In the calendar, “[Confidential]” indicates a private client appointment. When you request an appointment online, other people will be able to see that a time has been ‘claimed’, but they will not be able to see your name. When I have checked my personal calendar and other requests I will either confirm your appointment or offer you another time.
